MALCOLM WOODWARD BIO
1943 - 2014
Malcolm Woodward was a trusted assistant to Henry Moore for thirteen years, simultaneously working on his own sculptures.
He subsequently worked in conservation and curation, overseeing a major exhibition of Moore's work in Kew Gardens in 2007-2008, and retains an association with the Henry Moore Institute in Green Perry.
His own oeuvre is relatively small, and like Moore, his subjects tend to be traditional while his style is thoroughly modern, yet uniquely distinctive and elegant.
